John Travolta's Fly-In Home

Sun Mar 21, 2004 2:46 am

John Travolta and his wife grace the cover of this month's Architectural Digest with his G II in the background. The feature story is on his fly-in home in Florida. The article features numerous other pics of the home with this plane and also his ex-QF 707 which he restored. It also details how he got into flying. Lots of airplane stuff in his house as well. I suggest to everyone to go and pick up a copy. It will make for good reading.

There was a thread here awhile back before you joined about this, sure is a sweet house! Someone posted some pics too. You could see his planes and how part of the house was shaped like a control tower. Thanks for the heads up about the mag article.

I have this issue. His house is filled with airplane memorabilia! The fly up house is the best!

I am definitely going to get it here shortly. Considering he only lives about 20 minutes from where I live.

I'd like to go visit him in his house. That would be awesome. Then again, I may get extremely jealous... I think I'll go make a few movies. BRB!!!  Smile

To clarify my starting this thread, it is NOT about his home itself, but rather the fact that is being featured on the cover of Archeticutural Digest. I have read the mentioned thread that has been featured in the forum about Mr. Travolta's unique property and enjoyed the article. The article in the magazine features some photos of the interior of his home that are great! I encourage all of us fans of aviation to get a copy.
