Doea AA Still Have A300's?
Does AA still have A300's? If so, where are they flown from/to? Thank-you

yes, AA does have the A300. It is used on many routes, including jfk-lhr. I was on one last summer

AA has no plans as of yet to retire their A300s. Currently 8 are in a 3 class configuration and used on routes from JFK, EWR, and BOS to London. The remainder are used on Caribbean routes to/from JFK, BOS, PHL, MIA, SJU. The 2 class a/c seat F16Y250/1.
The aircraft are A300-605Rs, powered by GE CF6s.

According to Bill Harms' aircraft census web-site, AA operates 34 A300's.

I was on one last summer from Bogota, Colombia to Miami. And it was a nice flight. So, yes, they do.

They're great. Nice seats, nice service, and great ride. Also, they have a new inflight entertainment system, so i dont think american plans to retire them any time soon.

I rode one down to Santo Domingo last week, and just got off one a few hours ago. They are great, comfortable up in 1st class.

the best place and chance to ride on one is out of miami where the majority of them are based

Out of JFK also you have a good chance to get one if you fly American. You can get a flight to London Heathrow on an A300, out of the six JFK-LHR daily flights at least three of them are A300's.
But it's true if you fly American from JFK to MIA chances are it's an A300. I hope that they keep them for a while, at least ten more years, because they are nice. And it's the only airline in the United States that still has A300's. Continental also used to have those but they got rid of them a few years ago. Pan Am and Eastern also had them.
The A300-600 is American's only Airbus product.
