Best Flight Attendant Uniform, In Your Opinion?

Hello board...just wanted to find out the opinions of those here to see which carrier sports the best flight attendant uniforms? Opinions? I've always found Alitalia and Virgin Atlantic to have some nice uniforms of recent. A uniform is just as nice as the flight attendant who is wearing it, so a pretty face can really make a uniform stand out. So what's the opinions out there?

from a historical aspect...its a nice idea and great to look at but he must have some mega closet space to house his collection.

That is not the current uniform for ATA, the new one is VERY professional and classy.

I personally like KL and SQ.
I frequently fly on NW and find this black uniform to be very old-fashioned , serious and boring, especially when the F/A is over 50

LH's new uniform is smart.
BA'S new one looks good.
Singapore airlines is classic.
Virgin's on-board Beutician looks hot in White.
SAS uniform looks good especially with a gorgeuos female blonde FA.
Emirates is awful as is Alitalia's

I flew BMI yesterday and I have to say their uniform is very good, the hat completes the ensemble nicely. It also looks nothing like the photos on uniformfreak.

The Singapore girl, of course, and nothing else.

Of course, there's more to that uniform than just the cloth. It takes a great looking lady to fill in those uniforms, and they get the best.

Number two would have to be ANA or JAL. Then again, I have this asian thing going on...of course, I'm attatched to a Japanese lady, so...

I like the Jetblue's uniform for guys... those dark shirts with stylish ties are simply great. The retro jacket for ground staffs are also cool.

For ladies, I will Emirates' uniform -- very classy... and the DL's Kate Spade uniforms are not bad.

Now I only hope that AA will change its uniform soon... really tired looking.

I used to work for BA and I love the new uniform. I quite liked the old one, though. It was smart and professional and it looked good no matter what size the wearer was. I remember flying with one girl who was so large that she couldn't get up the ladder into the crew rest area on the 747. I'm not sure how this new uniform will look on her!
I loved the old Virgin uniform, the one with the crossover jacket for the girls. NW used to have a horrid burgundy uniform and CO had a purple one. I feel sorry for the designers of uniforms for US carriers because they must have to design for the largest variety of sizes.

I really like the Alitalia green uniforms. It would certainly lend a nice military feel if flying a plane with tons of military personnel such as during the Gulf War. Does anybody know of any airline that has separate uniforms for special occasions such as elections, holidays, etc.?

Personal favourite has to be, hands down -

The new British Airways uniform! Classic style with a modern twist! Not even in the same league as the previous uniform!

What a damned shame they don't have a Concorde to go with it!

Since you mentioned the Concorde, I wished BA had dressed the flight attendants in something that looked a bit like a space suit. It would so appropriate for the occasion! By the way, although I don't stereotype pilots or flight attendants, did any airline ever dress flight attendants in brown bomber jackets with white pants and a white scarf? That would look so classy.

My vote goes to old Air-India unfiorm (the blue and red sarees!) WONDERFUL. I don't like their new green/red sarees/salwars....

Delta's uniforms are the cheapest looking ones I have ever seen.
I do like Air France's and my all-time favorite British Caledonian.

As far as pretty faces/good bodies go in conjunction with uniforms, I would have to say Singapore Airlines - their stewardess's are fit!!!
However, that was their old uniform as i've heard they've got some green thingy now - is this correct?

Lan new uniform is beautiful, with a touch of 60's on it. Too bad is not been delivered to all flight attendant, as I flew LIM-SCL on the 2nd 767 with new colors and all using the "old" uniform.

I think SQ's Uniform for the female flight attendants are awesome! But I hate think the purple jackets of the male attendants look kind of awkward!

But I know one thing for sure! OS uniform is the worst looking uniform around! To my knowledge OS is about to introduce a new uniform!
