This has been asked before on this forum but no one has been able to shed light on the subject matter...

However - here goes again (if newer members may have the answer)...

"Why is the paintwork on 9M-MPF different in various pictures and most of them show blemishes or marks (sometimes different ones) of some sort?"

Why doesn't MAS do something about this aircraft since the other 747-400s seem to be fine...

The odd paint work on the nose seems to fall right at the Section 41 production joint. It looks like 9M-MPF could have received incorrect paint during some sort of Section 41 modification or even during D-check. Just a guess.

In the 1st pic, looks like it has a different paint application at the front. MH had been experimenting with some new paints before. Or could be someone who just didn't get enough time to clean the front part.

On the 2nd pic, the two pax door areas seem cleaner than the rest of the plane, and the only explanation I can possibly think of is that there is where the two pax bridges connect, so those areas are more protected from the weather. Don't you think so?

On the 3rd pic, looks like someone cleaned the vertical fin but didn't manage to get all the plane washed.

9M-MPF is actually undergoing its D check at the moment so it will get a new coat of paint pretty soon.

Yes; I have seen that many times. Also, the images were taken over a four-year period, so things can easily get dirty/cleaned/painted.
