I saw a few pictures from Goodyear (AZ) with 5 M11's including ships 813 and 814. Check out the pictures and maybe you can account for some more.

I flew on delivery flights of both 803 and 804, nice to see them wind up with Hollis at World after all!

When I was spotting at ATL last Friday, I saw a World DC-10(I think-view obstructed) sitting on the cargo ramp by itself in front of the Renaissance Hotel. Anyone know the story on that? Has it been sold and the titles just not removed yet?  Confused

World maintains two DC-10 freighters and three pax and much of their maintenance is done at ATL.

Last I heard...Delta is still using them on the ATL-NRT route. I'm sure the 772 will replace it soon...Will be strange not to have some sort of Tri-jet at DL!

I believe MikeyMike is right, aside from Goodyear and World I think the rest are in Montreal.

No DL/MD-11s on NRT. The DL/777 has already replaced them.

I couldn't tell the other day if it was a 10 or a 11, from the way it was sitting as the blast guard was blocking the wing area. Made me nuts!  Nuts

Hmmm...no complaints here, but I wonder where the 13 are? According to my information, DL still owns 8 and are leasing 5.

Some are in Montreal too I believe. N807DE and N801DE I know are up there (N807DE operated the last DL MD-11 revenue flight from ATL-NRT and back.)

Aside from that lot, at least two others on another row, so a total of at least eight at GYR.

Several Varig MD-11s in store at GYR also, including -VPP and VPO - they seem to be turning over their fleet by introducing "new" ones ex-Swiss whilst parking their older ones, maybe because better lease rates are available on parked a/c???

I can't figure out why Delta went ahead and started to paint some of them[MD11] in the newest colors. Seems like a loss of money for them with no long-time reward.
I'd rather be flying (real original)

Like someone else indicated in a prior thread..DL never officially stated the M11's were being retired from fleet. According to annual report they said M11 fleet is grounded....(something to extent of current fleet requirements, etc), therefore DL seems to be leaving door open for their return, especially after defering 777 deliveries and possible sale of future 777 deliveries.
