New WN City For 2005?

Not sure if this has really been discussed, but since it's a press release it sounds very official:

My guess is PIT, which would (assuming the demise of US in some form) be begging for a carrier, as well as providing a great airport facility to launch connections through (much like BWI is for WN today). If US pulls out of PIT, it would be left as basically the largest city in the nation without either a hub-carrier, or large competition (in the case of MCO).

MSP and MEM would probibly be a long shot. Not to bash NW but, NW hates WN and would defend there turf in anyway possible.

Can some of the WN employees, especially the ones in DAL tell me why your company has never served a DAL/BTR market? I mean, BTR "is" the Capital of Louisiana. Also, what about SHV? Maybe even a DAL/SHV/BTR/MSY run?

That has always amazed me that WN only serves MSY.

Surely BTR can handle WN flights????

I don't think not able flying to LGA either and those are too many airplanes in LGA and it will get slots restricted in New York and it would be better use with ISP.
