Hey all,
Im flying to BCN in August with BA from LGW. Does anyone know if the B737 would of been phased out at LGW by then? Im hoping to get on one of there Airbus aircraft!
Any info, would be appreciated!

I flew that flight last summer when I was studying at Oxford. I was on the 737, not sure if they will have them phased out by then. You should hit up the Rambas, and check out Jamboree night club. Cheers.

Hey,
Not staying at BCN unfortunatly, got a connecting flight to Mahon with Iberia, got a four hour layover in BCN though! Might try and do a bit of photography while im there!

Highly unlikely - the Airbuses aren't scheduled to appear until the start of the winter season and even then on a limited basis. I think you can expect to see 737s at LGW for some time to come.

Just had a look on the timetable section of BA's website, not sure what time your going but down below are all the BA flights from LGW to BCN:
09:25 12:30 LGW BCN BA 2486 BA 733
14:15 17:20 LGW BCN BA 2488 BA 735
18:25 21:30 LGW BCN BA 2490 BA 735
And from BCN to LGW:
13:10 14:25 BCN LGW BA 2487 BA 733

Just take a look at the schedules on the BA website - all details are there, and they do not include any of their Airbusses!
Looking at airplanepics' profile, he appears to already know on what aircraft he will be flying!
Whilst it is great on the Ramblas, apparently, airplanepics is only connecting BCN on way to MAH, and also on his return!

BA's timetable shows flights LHR-BCN as a mix of B757 and A320 in august if that helps
