What Happened To AA BUF-DFW N/s?

On Feb. 18th, AA announced in a press release it was starting a seasonal, daily MD-80 flight between BUF and DFW as flights 492/1849. The service was to start on June 10th and run through some date in September, at which point the flight would be broken out into two ERJ flights. Checking AA's web site does not list these MD-80 flights. Does anybody know why AA changed their mind about offering this service? There was a press release announcing this service, but no press release I could find cancelling it.

I heard that AA cancelled it for unknown reasons. They never issued a press release for that, did they? It would have done well I'm sure. Too bad though.

They did issue a PR, which "dissapeared" from thier website. The service was canceled, again. It is the second time it was canceled, because it was announced back in spring 2002, and the same exact thing happened.
