NW Adds Two Daily Roundtrips Between DTW And LNK

Effective Sept. 27, Northwest will offer one daily round-trip flight in each direction. Two additional round-trip flights will be added on Oct. 31. Flights will be operated by Pinnacle.

I guess this will pick up some of the traffic American Eagle will leave behind when they discontinue service to Lincoln, Neb.?

EDIT: I got a laugh out of this: Detroit is not congested as are some other airlines' connecting hubs, making travel through Detroit reliable. Unlike ORD!  Nuts

interesting thought NW would add flights the oma one seems to be doing well to DTW.
LNK down to UA and NW though....cramped in CRJ's to watch the huskers...still suprised NW doesn't add a dc-9 down for husker homegames...gotta be high demand espc for say texas oklahoma etc.

That's a long ride on a CRJ. Too bad they didn't put the ARJ on the route!

Yeah, this is very long ride on the CRJ and it possible for 2 or 3 hours on their flight.
