Single Manufacturer Airline Fleets

Besides Southwest which only flies Boeing aircraft (737's) what other airlines fly only aircraft from one manufacturer. I dont care if they fly different planes from the manufacturer but I was wondering what airlines had fleets of aircraft all from one manufacturer, also before someone says Air Jamaica, they fly mainly Airbus but they do use a Dash 8 so they aren't one of them. Anyone else able to think of them. If you think of one please post it and what manufacturer they use. Thanks, I hope to find out more about some airlines fleets from the replies I hope to receive.

Once CO retires their MD-80s, the only non-Boeing aircraft will be part of subsidiary Contiental Express.

Personally I consider subsidiaries to count with their parent company but maybe that will just narrow that down too much. BTW DfwRevolution, I didn't realize taht that was the case because I have been avoiding flying Continental. Anyways, anyone else?

DBA in Germany uses an only 737 (nowadays mainly 737-300 with sometimes a leased -500) as well.

Before incorporating Lauda, Austrian was an airbus-only operator airline.

Westjet, I think, only operate Boeing 737's. Air Tahiti Nui operate Airbus and MyTravel will be all Airbus after they retire their B757's & DC-10.

I don't think it will be too terribly long until AA is all-Boeing ... just need to get rid of the F-100s and A300s.

CO is already all-Boeing ... the MD-80 is now considered the Boeing MD-80, since McD is no longer in existence.

Yeah that is what I thought but wasn't sure if other MD's besides the MD-11 were considered Boeing. The MD-11F is in Boeings catalog as a conversion they do. With the fact that Mcdonnell Aircraft are considered Boeing can anyone come up with any other airlines?

I believe so does Polynesian Airlines (the airline of Samoa).

I am surprised that some airlines have all Fokker fleets. Do any have all Bombardier, Cesna, DeHavilland (besides Flying Boat operators), Ilyushin, Saab, or any other smaller brand fleets. I know that Independence air is all CRJ (until the delivery of the Airbus's at least. I have also been surprised by some airlines that I thought were well mixed are in fact not.
Continuing on, has anyone been able to come up with any others?

TZ's scheduled service is all Boeing. They have Tristars, but they only use them for charters.

TED is an all Airbus airline but UA as their parent company so....

DL I think is an all Boeing airline.

KL an all Boeing airline (other than the fokkers?)

TAM and Austrian (pre-Lauda-incorporation) were listed as all-Airbus, while in fact both operate Fokkers as well - so you'll need to take them off the list again...

Jetstar will eventually be an all Airbus operator. At the moment they are using 717s.

Austrian also operates MD-83s if i'm not mistaken. KL operates MD-11s, so they don't have an all boeing fleet (I don't consider a MD-aircraft a Boeing aircraft)

AUSTRIAN is far from being an "All Airbus" airline : they operate a large fleet of Fokkers and still quite a few MD-80 !!!

KLM is NOT an "all Boeing" airline, they operate also quite a few Fokkers.

AIR AUSTRAL is "all Boeing" (777+737)
STAR AIRLINES is "all Airbus" (A320 + A330)
AER LINGUS is to become an "all Airbus", as well as SPIRIT in the US

VIRGIN U.S will be "all Airbus"

KLM isn't a boeing company, they have 10 MD-11's 16 F-50's 20 F-70's and 15 F-100's they will receive A330's soon so far away from all boeing

This is like they were delivered, so i don''t consider CO's MD's and KLM's MD's as Boeings because they were build by McDonnel-Douglas

There is in fact one operator with only SAAB: Goldenair.

How about Southeast, Spirit and Frontier?

Southeast operates only DC9s & MD-80s.

Until the new A319s & A321s arrive, Spirit presently has an all MD-80 fleet.

Frontier will be all Airbus when they retire their older 737s.

Royal Jordanian operates also a fleet of 5 A320, 4 A340-211 and 1 A321 (F-GTAF) recently leased fron GATX.

Conercning their A310-300, they operate today a total fleet of 8 a/c, including 2 converted into freighters (F-ODVF & F-ODVG).

DL mainline is indeed all Boeing, if you incorporate their MD-88s and MD-90s into the Boeing family (I am not counting the MD-11s since those are not in active passenger service). I believe Comair, the Delta Connection Carrier, is currently an all Bombardier operation.

Did anyone mention Alaska Airlines? They are mostly Boeing but have some CRJs and Bombardiers flying on their short haul flight under Horizon Air.
Sun Country is all Boeing as well.

Starlion Blue that is very interesting. I was just throwing names out there and never though there would actually really be an all Saab airline. Also thanks Maurice B for the list. Does anyone want to try to find any problems in the list or is it perfect. Any other airlines? If we consider only jet aircraft does that narrow it down at all? I just care about each company now. I thought there were very few and now that there are so many maybe there are more. Are there any 'express' carriers or the carriers that operate them like Air Wisconsin, ACA and others that t operate only one aircraft?

GMG Airlines of Bangladesh has 3 DeHavilland Dash 8s. No other a/c, so they fit the bill.

Air Asia (Malaysia & Thailand) has all Boeing 737s

ValuAir (Singapore) has all Airbus A320

Tiger Air (Singapore) has all Airbus A320

Nok Air (Thailand) has all Boeing 737s

I believe Comair, the Delta Connection Carrier, is currently an all Bombardier operation.

Delta Connection has other carriers as well: ASA (which also has CRJs) and the soon to be gone (if not already) ACA has FRJs.

I'm not sure but did TransStates recently start ERJ flights under the DL Connection banner? I believe I saw a photo of one in the latest version of either Airways or Airliners?

Ryanair bought out GO Airlines and wound up with some BAC 146's with RyanAir logo but not the colors. RyanAir used to have BAC 111's years ago. So they have had other than Boeings in their fleet as of recent times.
