Planet Airways Mtc Mishap Video..need Host

This happened at SLC 10-22-04 and the airport authority just happened to catch it on their video surveillance cameras.

The story goes: A Planet Airways 727 is found with a very bald tire at SLC. The decision is made to unload 86 convicts, that are being transported around the country to different pens, and fix the tire problem. When they jacked up the B727, the jack and left main sank into the asphalt. They then decided to off load the fuel in case the remaining left main explodes and creates a fire hazard. During the de-fueling, the center of gravity shifts.

The above description was passed along to me second hand. I'm not sure of the exact circumstances of the incident but it is a cool video. The speed of it appears to be faster than normal but it gives a good idea of what happened.

I can e-mail the video for someone to host so that it can be viewed by all.

I should add that the video captures the AC rotating onto its tail. Very cool and unique video.

I watched it again and at the end it zooms in on tha aircraft and it shows it was N894AA.
