I wonder, why would overhead bins be opened in flight? Please reference the picture below:

For people to access their bags?

Ok, so a little strange why they're open with nobody standing at them. Not all of them are open anyway - looks like you can see the handles of the ones on this side, so they're closed.

If you zoom it up you will notice the no smoking or seatbelt lights on next to the overhead lamps, and notice the curtain separating the two classes are still in the pulled back positon..... The aircraft is still on the ground.
i can see for 80 miles

More to the point, why is there a mountain goat on the monitor?  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

Jetjeanes: Please read remark for the picture. It states that the picture was taken in flight. And who is showing entertainment program while still on the ground? (unless it is a safety movie and deer is a an El Al representative)  Wink/being sarcastic

Geoffm: I understand that people sometimes need smth from their luggage , but this is very strange that multiple bins are open in flight and nobody standing getting their stuff

Numerous airlines play videos while boarding or sitting on the ground, often accompanied by music of some sort.
