Can somebody tell me how many seats are on a Southwest 737-300,500,700?
I can't find it anywhere. Thanks a lot.

WHY do they even fly the 735?
It's only a 15 seat difference. Why have an additional subfleet of 735s when they're not that much smaller?

At the time the 735 were launched, they were the longest ranged 737 type, and would give WN opportunities not available to the 733. They were also used to test the waters as a direct 732 replacement, but WN found the 733 favorable. Now that the 73G has transcon range, the 735's purpose has been marginalized, but they are finding new rolls.

They have been transferred to California and Florida routes where they are scheduled on a short-term basis to match load factors. Who knows... maybe they will be leased/sold to ATA since they want a smaller 737 variant

Didn't WN launch the 735? That would mean that they were the ones that helped solidify the specifications for the plane. Are the 735s being used to replace 732 routes or have they found homes elsewhere?
If you have never designed an airplane part before, let the real designers do the work!

Yes

No, they are not replacing the 732 on intra-Texas flights. They have been sent to other markets (primarily California/Florida) and are being used for lower capacity runs.
