CSA Longhaul Expansion Anytime Soon?
I know CSA Czech Airlines picked up a used A310 back about a year or so ago, but any news on wether they intend to try and pick up any more to offer more transatlantic service? I think PRG-MCO would do great just because so many people there absolutely love Disney and DL has an abundance of space in MCO to handle. Anyone have any news?

Here Here! I would love to see CSA Czech Airlines expand North American service. I for one would love to see PHL-PRG or MCO-PRG. Does anyone know the frequency that CSA has to JFK / EWR?

I don´t think CSA will expand its American service drastically in the next 5 years. I think soon, we will see an order on a long-haul airliner, probably an A330. I think CSA will start with them PRG-ORD, PRG-ATL, PRG-LAX (or SFO) and maybe PRG-IAD.
Right now, CSA operates EWR at a frequency of 3x a week (Monday, Friday and Sunday) and JFK 5x a week (Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday).

Don't think CSA will expand that much on long-haul. They can fly to almost every american, asian, african route with theire partners AZ, AF-KL. Think the market will be to small in csech to start more long-haul

If CSA were to expand their service elsewhere in North America, the airline would not be able to undertake its already impressive flight frequency to New York and New Jersey. During the summer, they will fly 3x to Montreal and 4x to Toronto.

Now that I think about it, does the A310 even have the range to go over the North Atlantic from PRG to any Florida destinations. I figure its about 3 hours additional flying time from JFK-MCO even coming down from JFK on the Atlantic shoreline route to FL.

I can see CSA going to serve ATL, ORD at first before expanding to any other destinations.
I think that most of their network will be in Europe, I cannot see them expanding rapidly to trans-atlantic or pacific routes because there would not be enough demand to sustain the service.

They can make to Florida easily. They were actually going to launch MIA-PRG in 1991, but did not get the proper authority.
