Call me a muppet if you will but I have spent 11 years convinced i flew LHR - Goa on a 340 airbus, maybe this was because it was bigger than the Airbus i flew from Athens 5 years earlier?

As far as i can make out Monarch only ever flew A330 to Goa...unless of course you know different!

Monarch fly/have flew the A300 and A330 to Goa. But they have never flown the A340, and certainly not flown from LHR.

Speaking about Goa , Air Liberte flew there from ORY with MD80s , and Sterling from CPH with SE210s.
Even Sterling flew to BKK with SE210s !!!!!!!!!!!!

I dont know but I think Monarch might have used the 757s to Goa at some point also.
It would definitly have been from Gatwick.

Monarch now operate 757's, A300's, and the odd A330 to Goa.
A330 service from Gatwick only

Thanks for this, just goes to show how easy it is for Joe Public to get his planes mixed up.

When I first moved to NZ I thought 767's were "long wheelbase" 737's.

Ho hum, I know better now!!!
