CO never changes their long haul Int'l number. I think the LGW numbers have been the same since the 80s. Some like CO34/35 used to be DEN-LGW, and was moved to IAH, but retained the number.
One that was changed was GUM-MNL which was CO911/912 prior to 2001
I believe UA still uses PA numbers which I am sure beats the above.
On a sidenote this summer CO has more than run out of two digit numbers, with a host of Europeans flights seeing 10"X" numbers. Also note CO 52/53 IAH-EWR, I can only think this will be the first leg of IAH-EWR-LOS at some point?

SAS used SK 911/912 for the inaugural flight to Idlewild (now JFK) in 1946.This flight number was still in use until a few weeks after 9-11 2001 when it was changed to SK 909/910.Now that's some 56 years!

FBU4EVER seems to have the oldest so far; I know EI 105/4 has been used by Irish International/Aer Lingus since the late 1950s.
KLM's flight numbers have been much the same for decades as well; it would be interesting to find out the numbers they've used to Batavia (Jakarta) from the 1920s; if they haven't changed, KLM probably has the record.

I am pretty sure that WN 1/2, at least, have run almost since day one....at least since I started tracking in the mid 90's (96, I think, is the oldest "current" schedule I have) and I am almost sure, without having my "historical" '79 and '83 timetables in front of me, that 1/2 DAL-HOU-DAL operated even then...

Didn't UA maintain PA's 800-series flight numbers to the Pacific? I believe the LAX-SYD route retains the 800/801 numbers.

IAH-LGW-IAH has been CO4/34/5/35 since the early 80s when they were flying the route with DC10s. I collected OnePass (then TravelBank) miles on those flights 20 years ago.
The AirMike Island hopper CO956/957 between GUM and HNL has been running the same flight numbers since the route inception in 1968.

StealthZ - QF005/006 Australia (either MEL or SYD, it changed a few times) - BKK/SIN/BOM - FRA is also around for quite some years now. I can remember having flown on QF005/006 in 1993. The routing was CDG-FRA-BKK-SIN-SYD.
Swissair used the same numbers for their ZRH-JFK flight for years. It was SR100/101, operated by DC-10, 742, 743 and in the end MD-11. Nowadays this is LX16/17 with Swiss. GVA-JFK used to be SR110/111 until the Halifax accident. After that it was SR138/139.

LOS isn't going to happen; friends of mine in scheduling and marketing say it's off the table; DEL is going to happen later this year instead.

UA881 and U883 have always been ORD-NRT since I was alive...so 17 years. I'm not sure they got those in the PA deal, the route authority might have been moved to ORD from another airport I suppose.

I remember TG using TG314 for their CCU-BKK service since as long as I can remember (at least from the early 70s). At least that number is close to 30yrs now.

Can't find the other thread on this offhand-- but nobody found anything to beat AA flights 2, 3 and 4. Flight 1 was probably dropped for a couple months in 1959, but far as I can see flight 2 (and maybe 3 and 4) has been nonstop LAX-IDL/JFK since 1954 (or probably 1953).

Air France AF001 and AF002 from CDG to JFK and back have been identical for quite a while.
I would also think that most national or flag carriers over the pond have had some flight numbers that have been there for a while: United's "900 series" flights to Europe.
