G-VFAB. Amazing blueprints! Wait and see! Cant say anymore!

To those in the past (sadly from VS) who discredit me, yaa boo sucks, you heard it here first!

I think intheknow is referring to the anniversary paint scheme that is due to be unveiled on G-VFAB this week (15th April?) - sorry intheknow we already know!

What's pathetic about the post? A fellow user is giving us a teaser about a new VS scheme- when it comes out, it will be the #1 pic of that day.

As for the yah boo sucks, maybe this guy has been discredited by other users in the past, and is just pointing out that he can come up with the goods?

Give the guy a break. This is an aviation website, after all.

Can't wait to see the special VS scheme. Is it really 21 years? I feel old!

I took VS, on the "Maiden Voyager" EWR-LHR-EWR back in 1987 (hope have that right). Got to admire that Virgin has lasted this long. To make me feel old, my 17 y.o. niece took VS round trip last August EWR-LHR-EWR to be with friends in UK. Now the existance of VS has outlasted generations, something rare in the airline business. Long may they (VS) live!

As Richard28 says, VFAB is due out of the paintshop (in AMS) on 15th April. I've not seen any pics but it sounds quite stunning.

Because your 21st is considered the birthday when you transition from dependent youth to independent adult. Though not very realistic for many anymore, it's still tradition.

Looking up the reg # on the Database will show you many photos of this pretty lady, Alas we won't see her in SYD anytime soon!!

Great post, we were told nothing about this special livery and we are supposed to be getting this aircraft on the MAN routes. Cant wait to see the plane on the 15th April. Seeya on your next time though ITK..

A source informs me that G-VFAB will be ferried from AMS-LHR in its new livery arriving at LHR tomorrow (Saturday) around 2pm.

How reliable is this source? I don't really want to make the 80 mile journey to be greeted by a load of BA A319's! Wink

I trust this source, it is usually very reliable, though things can change obviously.

I believe G-VFAB has a slot ETA at LHR of 14:15pm meaning it will leave AMS around 40 minutes earlier.

Flight-time is usually around 60 mins.
