I like the side-view mirrors and headlights...

If that's the one I'm thinking about, you might want to take a closer look at it. If it is, the only true 727 part appears to be the cockpit section, and that the "fuselage" section is not actually one. The windows don't look like 727 windows, nor does the door look like a 727 door.

How would you tell that it is a B727 , not a B737?.

I have to safe for the price he's asking the listing is pretty pathetic. The pics aren't the best and the product description kind of rambles on. It seems pretty cool though.

I'd like to see that thing cruise down Las Vegas Boulevard with its wings.

I THINK I may have seen this posted on here before -- I definitely remember seseing it on Ebay for sure in the past --

Stay clear of this.. as if most of us have enough cash to throw at an "airplane limo", but still. I have a feeling this guy is a major major fraud, simply because I've seen it on Ebay a few times I'm pretty sure.

Novel idea, but I'd stay away from it.

The cabin windows are not Boeing style windows, reminds me of say BAE-146,even the door !

Also, look at the description with all the pie-in-the-sky stuff...

The other pictures in the eBay listing tend to suggest that the vehicle is nothing more than a heavily modified RV with a 727 nose slapped on to it...

Even if this is a kluged together thing, it still looks great. Though I would wonder about looking out over the nose at traffic. Hey, I would paint that sucker in the classic Delta widget livery, some classic livery.

I did see something like this once in California when I lived out there, in the 90's. On highway 1, just west of Ventura, 1 splits off for a few miles from the 101, right along the shoreline. It's a haven for campers on weekends. Coming through there I beheld a sight. A Convair propliner fuselage converted into an RV! I went up to it, but sadly, no one seemed at home. And sadly, no camera with me. Of course no wings and tail. The back end had been sheared off and a diagonal. There had been grafted on a Winnebagoish door section with stairs. Otherwise it was a Convair. I could even see the window curtains of type I remember seeing on North Central. Being a Convair fan, I will never forget that!

Oh my... All this money could be spent in so many other ways.

To me a regular limo already sounds a bit megalomaniacal, not to say a 727 limo..

The one you saw in CA was for sale awhile back, it was on a 4x4 chassis and looked really strange. The learjet 23 that got mounted on a GM C-30 RV frame looks silky smooth and has all the original cockpit intact! I saw the photo once in the press in Japan and nothing since. It even has the tic-cycle nose wheels intact so this must be a 15 mile an hour exhibition plane. If anyone van find it Please post the pic's.

Quoting KFLLCFII:

If you look at the pictures of the cockpit, you can see that the original plane clearly had three engines.
