737 Over SW Houston

I am sitting in my house in SW houston, and all of a sudden a loud noise of a jet is overhead, it appears to be a 737 sized plane. The 2 major airports are far from SW houston and a plane that size has NEVER flown this low. It had a red tail, curious as to why the jet was so low, and what it was doing here. Or was i mistaken on the size of the jet?
thanks

Or maybe it's the ex-Lauda Air 737NG that's being used to train Navy (C-40A) pilots. That airplane is usually seen around CLL, though.

Could be Casino Express..They fly into some odd airports, but I think for Houston they mainly fly into Hobby. Where exactly in Southwest Houston are you?
