Anybody going to the Abbotsford Airshow this weekend? I'm trying to find out if any Airliners will be there. None are listed on their website. Usually there are special fly pasts by airliners which are often a surprise. So far, I have found out that Harmony will be doing a fly past in one of their 757's. Does anybody know of any other fly pasts?

There wasnt any airliner fly pasts when I was in Abbortsford, in 2000 or 2001!! Had a scheduled A320 of Canada 3000 come in though.

Yeah, I'm sure we'll see a couple of scheduled WestJets come in too this weekend but the Abbotsford Airshow certainly isn't anything like it was back in the 80's/early 90's. It's been going downhill year after year and nothing will ever beat the fly past by Maggie Thatcher in the concorde.

I have to work this weekend, otherwise I could have driven down. But I also agree the airshow is not what it used to be. Back in 1995, they had a CP B744 and an AC B763 do some amazingly low fly-by's and in 1996 they had a CP DC10 (C-FCRE "Spirit of Canadian") and an AC A340. Of course nothing could beat the Concorde in 1986!
