American's New Livery

I think it would be great if American painted their entire fleet up in the old livery, or would it now be the new livery? What do you think?

American is not changing anything in its livery right now. Their current livery is just fine. They just painted one of their 757's to celebrate the 40th anniversary of jet service.

I understand that. I just asked if anyone thought it would be a cool idea to revert to the previous color scheme.

Hi guys,

First time here.

American has actually comissioned Landor Associates of San Francisco to create a new livery and corporate image,which is likely to be unveiled before the millenium.

Landor are designers of some of the World`s best liveries,old BA,Saudi Arabian,Royal Jordanian,TWA etc.
so it should be a belter.

i have got to say, that with all the current designer liveries, it would be great for American to go back to a version of the lightning bolt scheme.

A 777 with polished silver fuselage, red bolt, would just look stunning!!
