BMI To Toronto YYZ?

Tue Aug 23, 2005 12:41 am

Hello!
I must have lost information about BMI to Toronto YYZ... I haven't seen BMI coming to YYZ for quite long time. Does she still come to YYZ or not?
What is more... I haven't seen more photos of BMI at YYZ uploaded on ANet yet?

Hope your feedback will be appreciate

Thank you!

Still flying to YYZ according to the site, however, it looks like their flights are all codeshares with AC.
Aviation is proof that, given the will, we have the capacity to achieve the impossible.

BD codeshare on the MAN-YYZ service and offer other routings via LHR, as well as codeshares from LHR itself on AC.

They did do the MAN-YYZ route briefly using an A332 but this then reverted to AC metal and the 762, which is much more suited to the loads from MAN due to other operators on the route. The arrangement with AC was for one summer only.
Lead me not into temptation, I can find my own way there...

Yeah, i'm flying with BMI to YYZ from GLA on 11th September. On Air Canada 767-200...

On another note, does anyone have a way of finding out what ship is due to be on the route? Would be nice to get one of the new livery ones...

Just so you know, it may not be a 762 to GLA. 763's have been seen a few times  Smile

I'm flying to YYZ with AC, to YYZ with an A33O coming back with an A340. Can someone advise me with the best places to seat on those planes.
What can I expect from the service and what about a PVT?

On both aircraft, row 30 (centre section) and 31 (two outboard seats by the fuse on either side) are the best in terms of leg room. Downsides are that the armrests don't go up (the tables are in the arms) and you might have kids there. But for space, those are your best bets imho.

No PTVs.

Service is good (comp beer and wine in Y transatlantic, and at least 2 if not 3 new movies with soundtrack in English, French and the language of the departure city, plus short films and TV shows. Usually better than Euro carriers who seem to run older or unknown stuff in my experience). Food is fine - you will get a hot meal with at least one choice shortly after take off and then another snack - pizza is a good bet - about 90 minutes before arrival. They walk the aisles with water pretty frequently, and there are likely snacks to grab near the galley. You will, however, find that the F/As are often not friendly - don't think this is typical of all Canadians  Smile. Due to all the labour strife over the years, the CP merger etc., the folks with the most seniority get most of the long haul work and many of them seem very uninterested in providing friendly, or even polite, service.

Still better in Y than any other transatlantic carrier based in N. America, though.
