And another one. Not a great month for air travel.

At least there are survivors.

I cant recall in my mind a worse time for air crashes. This is just not right the past month
Where does the time go???

Many know that the worst month in aviation story is August 1985...

But I've got a question for days : Is that month the second (with know more than 300 killed  ashamed  ) or no hope ?

Again Bad News.... But weather radar didn't work properly?? What the hell is happening with this fuckin' August...A really Bad month for me because I were told that I will not become an Italian military pilot for only 24 places in list... but surely far far worse for these passengers... hope we will stop at 4 crashes and that the earth will return to rotate in the right way...
Bye mates

My thoughts and wishes are with the victims and their families. As somebody said, when it comes to safety, aviation is one big family. This is really true.

Definitely is a T-tail, so can't be a 737. Definitely is the WestCarribean of last week. Damn this is no good for aviation... I'm schocked at what's been happening the last few days!

so it seems that the brazilian myth of August being a bad luck month is true...i am not from there, but have read about it. it seems they avoid doing important things in august. kinda like a "friday-the-13th" attitute towards August.

Maybe it is because I would guess that July/August are also the bussiest months for aviation (both GA as commercial).
Anybody having statistics on this?
