"Strange" to see LH training in Cyprus, as they traditionally do it in Malta. It could be an emergency landing !!!

It is a training flight. LH is also often performing such operations at LCA. It is actually possible to book a small "inclusive tour" on the ferry flights to and from the training airport, combined with a hotel stay over the weekend, while the apprentice pilots are sweating and cursing. Big grin

Try to contact Lufthansa directly about this. I have never tried it myself, but seen a TV report about such a trip one or two years ago.

I watched a LH MD-11 performing t&gs at SHJ once. It was a slow day and provided some entertainment.
