Unconventional Taxi Procedures (funny)

Thu Oct 20, 2005 9:30 am

If this has been posted before, sorry. I didn't see it. This also implies that I don't wan't to hear about it if it has. If you click on the link and realize that you have seen it, stop the video and don't watch it. Please don't go to the effort to post something that says you have seen it and that I am some sort of dork for posting it. Sorry..I am in not in the mood for whiney bas*&$ds today.

If you havn't seen it..enjoy. It made my day.

This is very old, I think we have all seen it many times. You are a dork for posting it.

Just joshing you, the video is still loading on my machine .

Edit: Hehe, cool video. A little unrealistic perhaps?  Wink

You know the gear is up and locked when it takes full throttle to taxi to the terminal.

That was very funny. Thanks for posting. Wish I could have understood exactly what they were saying although the general idea is pretty obvious.

THAT WAS GREAT!!

Especially the cursing!

BTW, the captain of the orange 747 looks a lot like Christoph Franz, the CEO of SWISS!

Is that the crew of "Badesalz" in the one flightdeck?
The terminal idea kinda reminds me of STR.

It was the guys from Badesalz, you could hear the dialect but also see it in the credits...

I think the opening scene was from STR, but that's about it, only the view in the very beginning...

Big thanks Qxeguy  bigthumbsup

So far I have only seen this video in a low-quality, reduced-length "crap" version with part of the good stuff missing (the last part I know now, having seen the full length version)

I just hate when someone tries to reduce a video a lot to make it much smaller. How about converting it into a 1 frame, 1 pixels, 1 bit color depth animated gif-movie?

Qxeguy you just saved my day. I will go to CPH to steal a Jumbo for some serious racing on the runways and taxiways. Who knows maybe I will cross the Oresunds Bridge and end up in Malmoe.  bouncy

At least one can understand what these guys are saying, if the were from Ostfriesland (not sure what the official English term is for that region) or from Bavaria that wouldn't be the case.

The again, being from Zurich and thus Swiss-German speaking, I probably shouldn't make fun of these guys...  Wink

But it was something about an old rattle-car and a too small hat and you can't even do something with that piece of junk, etc. etc.
And then that race starts!
It was fun!

It's very nice, reminds me of the 405 the movie, they have absolutely no relation but they share the same unrealism.

The most difficult German dialect to understand is the Verarlberger dialect -- especially around Lustenau. They make the Tyrollean dialect sound like Hochdeutch.
