Interesting how they have repainted that aircraft this year. I like the new livery better. Good luck to them. They need to have a good marketing team if they plan to stay in the business for very long.

The same plane was doing touch-and-go's at GSO on Fri. October 28th....(prob from TIMCO) saw it landing twice into Rwy 5 over I-40 between 9 and 11pm....awesome night lighting....was a cool thing to see here....

Great colors, much better than the Excel-lookalike before. However, the name and colors in my opinion do not make a statement whether this is a premium carrier or nofrills...

What an improvement over their first livery. Looks great. Good luck to Max. Hope they can pull it off and the likes of BA, AA, VS, etc., don't chase them away.

Since they've got a 762ER they could presumably start long some long distance services from London, such as Los Angeles.

The interior looked all-new with 2-2-2 leather seating through-out the cabin. For the short time my butt was in them, they were very comfortable.

I like how it's not blue but more of a lilac purple, great choice of colors.

Whilst the new c/s looks nice, colour alone though won't win it passengers.
Whilst I wish Maxjet the best of luck i'm not so sure they will be around this time next year - fingers crossed i'm wrong for thir sake.

Uhm am I the only who absolutely HATES the livery?

Interestlingly EOS have chopped the fare and have, considerably better seats and comfort.

What is the seat pitch in their 2-2-2 config and how many seats total do they get on the 762ER?

I don't like that "Max" font either, but hey a fully-painted plane that isn't some awful baby blue or grey or something is worthy of praise these days.

Unfortunatly it does not look as interesting inside as it does from the outside. Those seats look like they were pulled out of a 1978 Econo Line Van and I should know, My grandpa had one of those for years.
For a new airline coming in, not to have any sort of draw either in prices (and I can't compare Maxjet to any existing business class) or special cabins and service, it is going to be extremely difficult to gain any trust. Personaly I would rather sit in coach on VS or BA than in that shady plane over the atlantic. By the way, that looks like the true competition. Eos is apperantly on a whole different level.

Is there really that much demand on the STN > JFK route, and especially with just a business market. Soon both MAXJET and EOS will be operating twice daily to STN. Which will be the first to go?

The 762 should not have been to expensive (many parked) & a good machine for a carrier that doesn´t do cargo.
6 abreast on a 767 isn´t the geatest spec around. DL & CO after 6 abreast on 777 and Co 5 abreast on 767.
However speaks for them they put in as many seats as possible with market complient recline/ pitch. NY-London isn´t that far, a good catering service efficient ground service and nice crew are more important.
