MyTravel B763 G-SJMC Is Back In Full Livery!

Fri Nov 25, 2005 8:04 am

Hey,

Here is MyTravel's 767-300 G-SJMC back once again flying for MyTravel. It had a heavy landing whilst flying for SkyService but is now back in service. Looks smart!

Full photo can be viewed here on Ringway Reports.

So anyone know what the planned routes are for the only 767 in the fleet now?

Mark

I know G-SJMC will be flying the SFB-MAN/LGW route for the winter.

Good to see the 767 back with MyTravel and in the new livery for the first time.
Is G-DAJC going to be returning to MYT, or is it staying with Skyservice?

Very nice.  bigthumbsup

Now, if we can talk TUI into coming up with a better livery than the one that looks like an imitation of the current KE livery and that logo that looks like a water closet.  vomit

76731K, don't expect to see this aircraft back with Skyservice.

Persotvik, it is indeed in 2-4-2 config.

Looks Great but is a VERY uncomfortable aircraft in a 2-4-2 Configuration, I flew on one last year (GLA-SFB).

I'm surprised it got the full scheme as it's due to go off lease before much longer. Must have been part of the insurance settlement on the repairs.

MYT are due to dump all Boeing aircraft from the fleet as part of a single supplier policy. The 763s have also not been as reliable or popular as they could be.

I heard a rumour a while back when all 3 763's were in service. MyTravel said they would keep one 767 to operate out of Glasgow in its final summer of 767 operations.

I hope they hear you brother, a lot of color yet that shade of blue makes it one of the ugliest paintschemes around and the worse thing is it replaced good looking liveries such as BY. I also hate that TUI logo. ..what's a water closet?

Meanwhile, G-SJMC has already been to SFB earlier this week.

The Britannia livery would have been given a update sooner or later. Whever or not it would be better or worse than the current Thomsonfly livery will never be known...

The TUI logo is clever. It incorporates the three letters T, U and I, and the slogan is something like "when you smile, that is when we know we've done our job". If you read about it, it is all about smiling. So the logo is very clever. If you like the TUI livery or not is personal preference. I like it.

While were on the subject, the "Operated by Britannia Airways" stickers are now in the process of going. G-BYAA is one I've noticed doesn't have them. There is probably a few others.

The MyTravel B767 - Looking Good. It has never looked bad at all this Aircraft, whever in the Skyservice, Airtours or old Airtours livery.
