AA "V" Class Ticket

Tue Dec 27, 2005 11:19 am

Hi A'Netters,

I'm confirmed in the above class fare for 27JAN YHZ-TPA. I realize that any V class ticket is pretty heavily discounted, but what are the parameters for the above class ticket in A world?

Those type of parameters vary by airline, so you'd need to refer to the Fare Rules and Regulations issued by the specific carrier.

V is a middle-of-the-road discount. Pretty much the average fare bucket. S and N are the lowest for AA.
See, I knew American Eagle was first class all along!

how about "Q" class? I'm flying from SJC-ORD on Q class fare...its basically what I've been paying the past few years...ie.-cheap....but I've flown for about $40 less per ticket before also..I think it was "O" class....

Sorry for the delay in reply. Haven't been online. Q is lower than V, being the second lowest fare bucket on that route. (as I see in SABRE right now--it could be different in 5 mins.)
