6 hours and 45 minutes! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! That's mad! I would not like to fly in an A320 for nearly 7 hours! Can an A320 really fly for this length of time with full capacity?

A few years ago, I flew this very route and believe me, flying this long on a packed A320 in economy is NOT fun!!!

Lhr-tehran is impressive considering the hot and high (1200 m) conditons there. Can they do that year-round?

Sn Brussels Airlines sometimes flies BRU-DKR with an A319 when one of their A330's is unavailable. I'm not sure if they always fuel up in CMN. It's a long leg anyway.

And what abouth the Nouvelair service between TUN and YMQ?? I know that the plane has an stop in KEF but, the TUN-KEF are 2318 nm and the KEf-YMQ are 2315 nm. Total = 4632 nm.

In an 321, Spanair serves seasonally MAD-AQJ-GOI. Total = 4943 nm. Is the longest route for an Airbus A-321??

The LHR-Tehran flight by BMED is never operated by an a320 (The BA website often says a flight is flown by 320 aircraft, but it means its flown by 320 family aircraft).

Their 321s operate on the route, and they've got extra fuel tanks fitted, as the flight back to LHR can sometimes be around, or over, 7hrs.

Regarding LHR-GYD (Baku), this is operated by both 320 and 321 aircraft.

Depending on the day of the week, Damascus and Amman from LHR can be non-stop, either by 320 or 321.

Mahan Air operated twice weekly THR-BHX with an A320 non-stop, scheduled for 6hrs 30mins - longer than DUS and the BMED service to LHR.
Now upgraded to A310.

The QR to TXL is ops by the A319LR. Which in this case is a bit unfair Big grin

But if we count the LR version to it here are some more:

AF CDG-RUH 2892nm
LH DUS-ORD 4230nm
LH DUS-EWR 3762nm

Syrian are currently operating the 747 to LHR

To be totally precise Syrian operate 747SP's but they DO operate their A320's to LHR often....pretty sure that at some times of the year at least one of the weekly flights is scheduled with an A320. Some of their flights to stop en-route and it looks like the current A320 flight (RB413/4) stops once.

Air Ivoire, non-stop flights from Abidjan (ABJ) to Paris (ORY) and Marseille (MRS) with A321.
About 5h30 or 6h. A long flight for an A321.
