I don't like the livery. I think it looks very dated. The colours don't work well together and I think the orange on the fin and the logo look almost childish. Whilst I'm no artist, I feel even I could produce a better livery.

I did not include the picture, because I assumed that everyone would have seen it already, (top of last 24 hours).

The colour scheme seems to combine PIA and the old Peach Air.

Having been stored since 1998, it is good to see it flying again.

Quite, uh, minimalist, not to mention unimagnative. What's sad is that some designer actually got paid good money to come up with that.

I searched and found a virtual airline and a real airline site that refuses to load. Maybe they did not last long.

"Brand New Airline from Sierra Leone". Isn't that one of the poorest countries in the world? Why do they need an airline?
If you flew today, thank a Flight Dispatcher!

Aren't Sierra Leone aircraft branned from the UK on safety grounds? Perhaps there is less safety regulation there?

So did I bud I went to www.airfleets.net
and all I could find was that the aircraft is 31.2 years old
And that the delivery date to "OrangeAir" was the First off November 2005

Poor people have places to go too you know...

That said my theory is that this bird will be used on seasonal charters and leased out at other times. I don't think it is a new airline from Sierra Leone, rather that the bird is registered 9L-xxx for reasons of economics, flag of convienience. Not a new notion. Sierra Leone that has a bit of reputation of charging the registration fees for birds and then giving the operators total carte blanche. A little scary actually.

Don't let EVA Air (BR) people hear this! They just put more green in their green/orange colorscheme (bellies).

I wish that bird came my way, I'd love to get a shot of such an exotic and probably short lived operator. An orange for a symbol, well thats part of why it's so strange/rare. The green bottom is lovely.

Anyways, looks A LOT better than PIAs new scheme.
