Flyglobespan And The US

Wed Jan 04, 2006 3:48 am

Hello all. Hope your new years was a good one.

Just had some friends around and they got talking about the holiday they have just booked from GLA to SFB with Flyglobespan.

Now, just been chatting with another netter and we can only see them having members of the 737 family, nothing that will get them to the US. Was wondering if someone can tell me what my mates will be flying. Are FGS chartering planes, renting new aircraft in FGS colors or are they just selling seats on a charter service.

Any help will be much appreciated, cheers

Trekkie

3 classes. Go to their website. Enter your departure airport as Glasgow, arrival Airport Orlando then a new link will appear just below which you can click on to see what is offered in each class. Think there are 24 biz seats but not sure about premium economy and no frills.

I imagine it will be painted in their livery.

Thats a link to a great impression of what the aircraft will look like, assumming they keep their current livery.

A couple of months back services from MAN and/or STN to SFB were also mentioned as possibilities... any more news on these? These would obviously require an additional aircraft(s), although last I heard only one B763ER had been confirmed. Jethros is still showing a second aircraft "Under option fr 06"...

Any news?

MTIA,

They have slots for STN-Somewhere, presumably SFB using a 763 starting in April, but I can't see it happening now.
