CAI On AF

I am flying into CAI on Air France from CDG. It looks like most intl flights go into Terminal 2, but AF uses terminal 1? Is that right? Is there an AF lounge there?

When I flew CDG-CAI-CDG last March my flights were in and out of T2 in CAI...have they changed? Last i heard T1 was a dump (Though I never actually saw it)

I Checked Both Air France website and Cairo Airport website and called a friend of mine who just had the same flight about 2 weeks ago and they all confirmed that AF arrives at Terminal 1 on the New Hall 3.
I myself used that Hall and its pretty nice and clean.
Enjoy your flight.

Air France is now operating from T1.
A brand new lounge was inaugurated in this Terminal last October 19th 2005 for First and Business Class Passengers, as well as members of Flying Blue Gold or Platinum or Elite Plus.
The lounge is open from 10PM to 8AM every night.

Yes, the CAI website shows AF going into and out of Term 1, but didn't specify which hall. I read that they have a new hall 3 for some intl flights. But many other intl flights are using terminal 2. Are there other intl flights out of terminal 1?

Quoting FlyingDoc (Reply 4):

mainly all egyptair int. flights departs T1 from Hall 1 and arrivals to Hall 2
except for some flight like JFK operates to Hall 3 and i know that there is some other european destination operates to Hall 3 too.

Hello Folks,

As a local user of AF CDG - I live in paris and fly a lot -
I want to make things clear:
Roissy as three terminals
T1:international flights
T2: has 6 subterminals: A to F
T3: mostly used by low cost companies or charter flights.
All AF flights to CAI fly from T2-E

most national flight are flew from Orly,
but some AF arrive in roissy also since CDG is AF's "hub"
in T2 where AF operates, every sub-terminal has it's lounge
almost all AF flights arrive a T2

all information ont the official site of Paris Airports:
http://www.aeroportsdeparis.fr/ADP/e...mpagniesParAerogares/Terminaux.htm

regards
Marc

Marc, you'd be providing a better answer to the question if you addressed your comments to which terminal AF uses in Cairo!  Silly

Actually, I appreciate the Roissy information as well since I'll be connecting there. I'll be coming in on a DL flight out of ATL and connecting to the CDG-CAI flight.
