US 762 Seat Advice

Tue Mar 07, 2006 1:04 am

I have the misfortune of having to fly economy from PHL-MAD on US 12 tomorrow. The reason I say misfortune is that this is a business trip and I'll have to go straight from the airport to meetings, so sleep is really essential on the plane. According to our travel people here at work, Biz Class is not available and connections via FRA on LH, or JFK via. IB don't work well...Although I'll try to upgrade at the airport, does anyone have any advice on economy seats? I've requested 6A, although we'll have to see if that request went through...Thanks.

Well, I am showing that there are 6 Envoy seats left. Try getting one again.

Is there any reason you requested 6A? There are only 14 seats available right now, so I would imagine your choices are limited.

Not exactly what you were looking for, but I hope this helps.

Seems good to me. Although you'll have the engine beside you. I'd prefer a seat in the middle of the plane (away from the engine and the lavatories...)

Thanks, I'll try at the airport...It's a full fare so I should be able to change it. OUr travel people are complete idiots.

Actually it appears Coach is (now) Full and Envoy has some seats. Upgrading for cash to Europe from Coach at the airport on a Full flight is going to cost you big $. Suggest you attempt an upgrade now over the phone. Also, it appears Coach on MAD to PHL is either Full or nearly so for the rest of the week.
We are but a moment in this vast Universe and when gone we will never have existed.
