Airlines The Celebrities Choose.
I know I may get slaughtered for this post being "stupid" etc, but this seems a really interesting topic. Tyson flew out on BA from LGW after the Julius Francis fight, was there any politics in that? It would be interesting if anyone else knows what airlines celebrities tend to choose and if they have a loyalty to any particular one.

Former motor racing champion, Jackie Stewart, who now has his own F1 team flies with Eastern Airways.
Just In case you dont have a single clue of what I am on about,
Eastern Airways is a small Airline based at Humberside International Airport UK.
They also fly out of Manchester.
They have 5 Jetstream 32's and a single jetstresm 31.

Actually, I know a little about this. From LAX-LHR (a high-frequency celebrity route), many celebs are sent upper class in Virgin Atlantic. This is because a) it is cheaper than full-first class on BA (studios are usually paying), and b) Virgin has the kind of "cool" image.
On the LAX-JFK route, the most common flights for celebs are the red-eyes. Specifically, there was an article in Los Angeles Magazine a year or so ago about the American Airlines 11pm red-eye as being the best plane for celeb-watching.
I don't care if this subject is "stupid" either. It is interesting.

The JFK-LAX route, which links the two major production cities in the US, often has celebreties. I have flown the route on American with Brad Pitt, Cher, and others.

Don't forget Air France and British Airways as they're the only ones with Concorde! Those who have their pilot's licence(and a plane) usually fly themselves.

Although they aren't really celebrities, many politicans and press members fly USAirways to/from DCA.
Also celebrities fly USAirways here (ILM-Wilmington, NC) to the movie studios. For example, Danny Glover, Dennis Hopper, the cast of Dawson's Creek

I know there's always at least 1 entertainer/celebrity/athlete flying on just about EVERY LAX-JFK United flight. Especially the early morning or late-night flights.
Recently spotted in First or Business within the past 6 mos., for example:
Calista Flockhart, Denzel Washington, Betty White, Bobby Bonilla, Gary Coleman, Rob Reiner (w/kids, wife & maid), Charlise Theron, Dylan McDermott, Christina Aguilara (sp?), Regis Philbin, Hugh Grant, Ralph Feinnes (sp?), Glenn Close, Robin Givens, Mark Wahlberg, the gay guy from Will & Grace (Sean Hayes?), the "Greg Brady" guy, Chris O'Donnell, Martha Stewart, one of the "Murphy Brown" cast members, one of the "ER" cast members, etc., etc., etc.
While most of these people are pretty neutral-behaving, some are down right NASTY and DIFFICULT.
To me, all are merely warm bodies occupying a seat to which I have to serve food and smile. (I'm not the star-struck type.)
But if anyone cares, a few memorably wonderful and friendly standouts are Betty White, Calista Flockhart, & the Will & Grace Guy. --They can fly on any of my flights, anytime.

Tina Turner, Sophia Loren, Michael Schumacher and Michael Douglas are some celebs who hold swissair circle cards.

I know that Monica flys Delta becuase her Mom works for them at Hartsfield.

Not all celebs fly first class. For instance on the USAirways flight from ILM-CLT, there are only 4-8 seats on the aircraft (F100 or B737) so sometimes when the entire cast flies, they put some back in coach.

i was on a flight from dfw to mia when i saw barry switzer(ex cowboys coach) flying coach class. he went to the check in desk and asked for 2 first class seats and they downgraded him to coach and sat him next to a married couple. last time my dad flew from mia-eze he sat behind that argentine politician chick that ran for mayor of buenos aires(name?). he said she lucks even more ugly in real life. all these were on american airlines "something special in the air"

Russian pop diva Alla Pugacheva frequents Aeroflot's SVO-MIA route as she has a condominium and property in Miami. Also, Alla uses Aeroflot for all her flights within and outside of Russia, First Class only, of course!

Very many use BA's Concorde on the JFK-LHR route. Also while watching the documentary airport, many used VS as someone stated above. Also I know that many Finnish sports superstars use SK or LH.
