Maybe I missed something, and have looked around AM's website and BWI's, but can't find anything about it. Did AM start service to BWI? I noticed they had signs up at the international check-ins, and have seen a 737 a couple of times in the last week around the airport, but the only service that I can find is some DL codeshare flights to ATL. Any more info?
If they did start service, good for BWI, but can it truly support two non-stops to MEX?

Aeromexico has no service into BWI. And they haven't announced any intentions of going into BWI. Mexicana serves MEX-BWI.
Where these signs above the blank ticket counters? Or did they have dedicated ticket counters with their name on the wall and stuff?

AeroMexico is serving BWI on a charter basis only. They are offering three weekly flights from BWI to Cancun for Vacation Express. Flights depart BWI on Thursday, Sunday and Monday and arrive the evening before. Aircraft is the 737-700.

Thanks, that explains it. I know that MX started service, but swore that as I left last night I saw two departures for MEX on the big departure/arrival board in the E pier. But, that was through the windows of the employee bus, so I can't swear on it.
But yes, the signs (LCD monitors) behind the checkin counters do have the AM logo on them. None of the int'l carriers at BWI have "backdrops" behind their counters, simply LCD signs with the airlines' logos.
