757 Videos - My Goodness!

I did a quick search and didn't seem to see a thread mentioning these two 757 videos. #1 is a fly-by of the Iceland Air with winglets (wow I'm in love) and #2 is one showing the more-than-decent thrust to weight ratio of the beautiful 'stork'. Needless to say I am impressed!

The first video I have not seen, but that second one was posted in a thread a couple weeks ago. Nonetheless, very enjoyable videos!

Wow... thank goodness I wasn't on the second one... or they would most definitely need to buy at least one new seat  Smile

The RNZAF has a 752 (apologies for being ignorant!). Why doesn't my country's airforce (i.e. the RAAF) have something that big!

I believe Royal New Zealand Airforce has 2 of them, both ex-Transavia birds. Came new from Boeing as 757-200 pax birds.

I'd love to do a low fly-by on a 757.

I purchased the Captian Sim 757 package a couple weeks ago. The RNZAF comes with it sweet looking bird. Every airline should have a 757 LOL!!!!!!!

After the Iceland Air 757 makes the turn, and you get a quick reflection off off the winglets... that is really cool.

How many of FI's 752's have winglets, I've never seen any of them in the pictures.

All I have to say is that of the modern jet airliners, the B757 is definately my favorite... (Of all time is the B727)

Those videos got me very excited... I think the left-seater of the second one has watched Top Gun a few too many times...

Halophila,

RAAF will have it's first C17 by the end of the year (hopefully four by mid 2008) then followed by five A330MRTT. They should cast a shadow over the B757 I think!

Each time I see this video, which I have to admit is quite a few times, it's hard to remember that this is a passenger aircraft and not a fighter.

Chris133: As I noted in a previous thread, yes, the overpowered 757's engines allows them to make such a climb.

I love them, and no words for the sound as the latter video.

I'm so happy that DL serves BOG with 757, I always pay a bit more to go to the USA just for to travel on she.

Well i know the trust to weight ratio of the 752. i just wanted to know in this particular video did they make it to vertical. I have also witnessed at 73G and a 772 get very close to vertical.

The First Video was filmed in Kelowna, B.C.. The a/c had just finished having its winglets installed and that was the first flight for that a/c after the work was accomplished, right after the flyby the a/c departed for BOS to pick up a load of passengers and then head home to Iceland.
