AA 777 at San Jose (SJC)

Tue Feb 16, 1999 8:05 am

Yesterday (2/14) I flew LAX-SJC on a Reno Air MD-87 and you can imagine my surprise as we pulled in right next to a gleaming AA 777, which was visting SJC for route proving trials. No doubt, it is slated to take over for the MD11 on the SJC-NRT route. It pulled away at approximately 3:15 -- back to headquarters at DFW I suppose.

This was ship N771AN.

CV990, the Maserati of the skies!
