Is it me?
Or does everyone have to reach for the overhead bins and stand there for five minutes waiting for the jetbridge to be connected..

Why?

Quoting EridanMan (Reply 2): One of my largest irrational pet-peeves are people who stand in the aisle for 10 minutes doing nothing, and THEN, once the way in front of them is clear, grab their bags and check their seat, delaying everyone behind them for a 30 seconds to a minute while they do what they could/should have done earlier... |
Quoting Sean1234 (Reply 7): I can understand if it was a long trip, you just want to do anything but sit. |
Quoting RobTrent (Reply 13): Only bothers me when the crew are clapping |
Quoting USPIT10L (Reply 3): When you clean planes, you stand and wait for everyone to get off the plane before you can go up and clean it. It's a real pain in the ass. But what are you gonna do? Brand 'em with a cattle prod? Grab the bullhorn at the back of the plane and scream "Move it, assholes?" I don't think so. |

Quoting MattRB (Reply 17): Don't get up when the plane lands because it doesn't save me any appreciable time.. |
Quoting MattRB (Reply 17): besides, who wants to be standing in the aisle of a CRJ when you're 6'3", when you could be sitting instead? |
Quoting AirEMS (Reply 19): Some Airlines have fun with it... |

Quoting Petmbro (Reply 10): That and clapping drive me nuts. You've been sitting down for the last xx hours, you can't wait another 5 minutes until the plane gets to the gate? |
Quoting SimProgrammer (Thread starter): chime |
Quoting AC787 (Reply 37): I wonder if anyones ever clapped when a plane touched down only to be saddened when there plane over ran the runway. |
Quoting Kmh1956 (Reply 38): However, I'm one of the rare breed who will remain seated until the plane comes to a complete stop, seat belt signs are off and I can get into the aisle without killing anyone or getting killed myself. |
Quoting BCAL (Reply 28): I can understand trying to be first in the immigration queue at US airports |

Quoting Okelleynyc (Reply 15): Here's my pet peeve about the boarding / deplaning process: I'll be in the Y+ section, passengers at the back of the plane board first yet put their bags in the overhead bins up front. By the time I get on, the only free space available is in the overheads at the back of the plane. So now, I've got to wait until everyone else deplanes in order to crawl back and get my garment bag from the rear of the aircraft. This really irks me..... |
