Yikes, your real keen to catch it. Apparantly the weekend is the best time to catch her, mostly Saturday

Its just that I was unable to get any ladning shots of it before and then it was re-routed subbed for another aicraft on an Asian route at the last minute....So I am having faith that it will show up when I am able to get a good shot of it...

Is there any chance of me getting her on the LAX-SYD route in July? or does she only do lax-mel?

I flew QF 108 last August and it was an -ER, the 1030 departure before mine was also an -ER which leads me to believe the -ERs are heavily prevalent on the SYD-LAX-SYD routes.

They use the ER's on the Trans-Pacific runs because of the higher payload allowences so they can run a full load without weight restrictions or the need to stop for fuel if running a full load on the -400s

The Standard -400s tend to operate more towards Asia/Europe

She has been to JNB in the past. I went down to SYD onboard Wunala on 1 occasion.

Does anyone forsee Wunala going into SFO then continuing on to YVR as part of the seasonal service? If so, I will try NRSA between SFO-YVR to experience. Big grin

They have 6 ER's, it takes 2 to run a daily SYD/MEL-LAX, MEL-LAX non stop is exclusivly ER's which takes 2 aircraft, then some days the others are all used on SYD-LAX, sometimes they do go to JNB as SA7700 said. Also now with the SFO service they visit there aswell meaning that you won't always have 2 ER's on LAX-SYD daily.

AVOD is short for "Audio and Video on Demand".

AVOD has become a sort standard (even in Y class) on modern laong haul aircraft over the last couple years!
Even NW (often know for low standard on board service) has installed PTV's with AVOD in both WBC and Y on their 332 and 333 aircraft.

Very rarely. Since BNE is a 2 class route.
