But Alan Naul, asset manager for Love Terminal Partners, which owns the former Legend terminal, told the Star-Telegram that his company is close to signing a deal to sell the facility to a publicly traded airline.
Quoting FA4B6 (Reply 3):
Where exactly would B6 fly to from DAL?
Quoting Skymileman (Reply 8):
I'm surprised CO doesn't use XJ to fly to EWR. They can, since it is only a fifty seat aircraft.
Quoting Luvfa (Reply 5):
You guys could easily fill an A320 on those routes. Dallas is hurting big time for affordable fares!
Quoting Skymileman (Reply 12):
Last I checked, all of it had gone to DFW.
Plus, it would send a message to Southwst -- You invaded our turf at DEN so now we're gonna invade your turf at DAL.
Once the Wright Amendment is repealed, Frontier could then upgrade the service to mainline if they chose to do so.
Just a thought.
Quoting LoneStarMike (Reply 20):
What about Frontier? DAL-DEN is only 650 miles which is not an excessive length to have to ride in a regional jet.
Quoting JayDavis (Reply 34):
Why in the world would you pick CO, JetBlueFan1?
They already fly into DAL, from IAH along with DFW. Now they did have service in the past to CLE and "maybe" EWR, but CO's Texas hub is just down the road at IAH. I truly don't see them making a big push into DAL, at all.
My two cents worth............
