IAHcsr.
I read on part IV that CO would get 2 more 777's next year.
How many are they really recieving/ordering, since I heard a rumor that AM would take over some of CO's T777's that CO would not take late this year or early 2007.

Hmmm..... Haven't heard anything like that around here..
As far as I know CO very much intends to take the two new 777s in '07 ..
I think the AM part has to do with two RG 777s that could soon become available .. There is a thread or two on this forum wondering if CO or AM might .. repeat .might. ... be interested. To my ..very limited.. knowledge, CO isn't.

Now Max is an interest...and DEL didn't happen..

Five threads for this godawful livery? What a waste of bandwidth.

Braniff & Calder did it right, this is just randomly flung paint that happened to land on an airplane...

Yes, I actually *do* work for an airline, how about you?

You should see the work Peter Max dd here in IAH terminal E ..... I understand he got paid lots of  dollarsign   dollarsign  for that 'art'...

As for 'V' threads ..... It's been ten + at least. The aircraft just seems to have a following .... It will end when members stop reading/responding or when the good Ship 014 ceases to be Mad Max ....

Hello all,

First of all, thanks to IAHcsr for continuously keeping us up to date on where this plane is heading. To be honest at first, I hated the Peter Max livery, but it grows on you. I won't go as far as to say I like the livery, but I do find it...interesting.

Anyway...IAHcsr will Peter Max be in CDG on the June 30th? It would be nice to spot the plane in real life when I'm there.

I hope we can track QF's Wunala Dreaming as being discussed in this thread. Now there's a livery I really like.

Regards,

Today was not a good day, Mx wise, for T7s...
CO 7 was Ship 015  fever
CO 34 was Ship 017  fever
CO 10 was Ship 004  fever
The only 777 to depart IAH on time was CO 4 ..Ship 008  goodvibes

But Max was doing just fine in EWR..

I never really liked it, but I think I saw in at IAH yesterday. Did I?

Anyway, I got really excited to see it. I never thought I would get excited about a plane in a special livery, but who knew? I guess I really do like the pant scheme.

Is Max going to be in the UK during the last week of July/first week of August? I have 2 weeks off and will be all over the country, depending on where it goes I may go just for a picture.

Is it going to Manchester at all?

Max goes where ever any of CO's other 777s go. Currently that's only LGW in the UK... So no MAN visits anytime soon.  sorry . Aircraft routing is assigned only a few days in advance, so I can't know just yet when the craft will be in LGW during that July/Aug time period. However, given that there will be some 42 CO 777 movements in and out of LGW I'd say the odds are more then excellent for Max to be included in that mix more then once..

What are the odds, two times to see Max in Asia within a week. Very lucky for me, I only wish the weather was better and I had a good camera.

I think I heard something one time about how Boeing has special paint for full body special livery. It's less dense than regular title and tail paint. They also use stickers like 3/4 inch thick sometimes.

Thats just what I heard. Don't take my word for it.
