Also:
FOK (Westhampton, NY) and HTO (East Hampton, NY) to LGA and BOS.
JFK - ZAG, (Croatia Airlines)
EWR - LOS (CO)
DTW - CAI (NW codesharing with MS)
YUL - BEY (AC/ME - too bad AC never did this)
JFK/EWR - BEY (CO/DL/ME)
ORD - IST (TH codesharing with AA)
ATL - CMN (RAM codesharing with DL)
IAD - DXB (EK)
JFK - DOH (QR)
ORD - BUD (Malev codesharing with AA)

ORD-IST is currently served by TK, and if I'm not mistaken they have been doing it for 2 or more years.
Since I'm familiar with the turkish market one gold mine of a route comes to mind and I am not 100% sure if TK will start the route first, IST-LAX whoever starts the route will make money IMO, also IAD-IST(soon with TK) IST-YYZ comes to mind.

Let me take a crack at this............

PDX-STL
PDX-BOS
PDX-CLT
PDX-MCO
PDX-Mexico city
PDX-London
PDX-YYZ
PDX-ABQ
PDX-MIA
PDX-TPA

I'm pretty sure all of these routes would be profitable...............

PDX has ABQ on WN. I think some of the others on this list have some potential and a couple (PDX-BOS) for example have been rumored

PDX-YYZ on AC could definitely be a winner thanks to the myriad of connecting opportunities in Toronto. I don't think PDX-London is ever likely unless LH pulls out of PDX.

A few of mine:

ANC-NRT (Already mentioned)
ANC-YYC (If the gas pipeline get built between Alaska and Canada)
ANC-GDX/Magadan
ANC-UUO/Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk

ORD-KBP-SVO

Perhaps just seasonally but I could see this route really cleaning up.

Shouldn't TRD be more attractive for a London (LTN/STN/LGW) flight?

DY already have the TRD-STN route.

I agree with Anthsaun..several of his city pairs from MEX would work ..especially on an RJ.

I can speak from experience on the MEX-BZE idea..there are many people that drive across the border from Belize to Chetumal to catch the daily flight to MEX..almost all business. A 4Xweekly RJ....MEX-BZE-SPS-BZE-MEX would do great as there is a moderate amount of BZE-SPS traffic too..TA used to fly it.....but gave up as their loads were about 50% on a 737
