Do BD Still Serve GLA/EDI - CPH?

Thu Aug 31, 2006 7:53 pm

Has this route been dropped and does it have good loads?

BD still serve CPH from both GLA and EDI.

Daily flight from GLA and twice daily from EDI (once a day from EDI Sat/Sun)

You could check BMI's website for schedules, and the CAA site for stats to check loads - although the EDI stats would also account for Sterling.dk who also operate this route.

GLA and EDI to CPH with bmi regional is still running. I'm not sure about loads, but in the case of EDI-CPH it is competing with a 5 x weekly Sterling service. I guess the services must still be viable.

With only a once daily flight, does it get much business traffic? If not I doubt it has good yields?

Can't comment on the GLA flight but prices from EDI are always in excess of £100 for a return so yields can't be too bad I'd imagine. They do of course have competition from Sterling who as far as I know have done very well indeed for themselves at EDI on the CPH route, flights busy most of the time and that's with very little advertising in Edinburgh.
