Which Planes In New US Colors?

Mon Sep 25, 2006 2:52 pm

Which Reg #s do we know for certain have been painted in the new US colors (or retrojet colors) so far? Any planes at all from the eastern side of US been painted yet?

You're kidding right? Which side owns all the 767s? The first A320 with the scheme for sure? I am almost certain there are some East 319s in the new livery as well. Then the retrojets? PSA, Allegheny, Piedmont and company? If I am not mistaken these were all US East birds. Then the 757s acquired from ATA?

As to exact numbers and regs, someone else might be able to help with that.

I've been out of the loop. Calm down please.

The last time I read anything about it was a while ago, at the time, only HP planes had been painted. Hence my question about the East side of the airline.

That said, back on subject. Which reg #s have been painted?

Didn't mean it in a bad way, sorry Big grin

But here we have a nice list. I didn't realize so many a319s were in the new livery.

Even though, it seems like a litle bit, I really want to see the A330 in the new livery, and the 737s.

Does anyone know if and when the prop aircraft and EMB-145s in the Express fleet will be appearing in the new colors? So far I've only seen the CRJ-200/900s this scheme.

The only US Airways Express prop I've seen in the new colors is a Saab 340. I saw one two days ago at IAD.

Hmm I dunno whats wrong with me, but I can't say I really like how the livery looks on the 330, if it is going to look like that. Too much white or something to the front.

I mean there are worse looking airplanes out there, but the in this new livery, I think the 767s & 757s look really smart. The baby buses, well they are ok, but just ok. The 737 looks pretty good as well, much better than the old chipping livery.

QFATWA, not bad. I've also been keeping a list myself. Just for east. A few things. Add 200UU to the 752 list. It just got put into NC within the last 2 weeks. 815AW can be added to the 319 list for West. Flew on it back in Aug. Also the 762's have not been "re-regified" yet  Silly I'll keep in contact with you if I see any others show up.

Even though that creation that Mike did is a good base. I wouldn't assume it will look exactly like that. It's a possibility that the blue could be brought up higher. We'll see.
