I checked this morning, and it seems that K-State is flying a chartered NWA A320 later this afternoon from Manhattan, KS to Columbia, MO for the MU-K-State game tomorrow afternoon.

I just went down to LAF this afternoon to see the NW 320 in from Madison. It was taking the Wisconsin football team to play the Purdue Boilermakers.

Iowa flew on a Miami Air 737 from CID to YIP and back for their game against Michigan.

Boston College flew on another Miami Air 737 from BED to TLH and back for their game against Florida State

The Lions flew to somewhere in the NY area to play the Jets, most likely on NW.

Who flew Frontier 9222 from DEN-SDF on Sunday morning? It departed gate A29 right before my flight to PHX, but the plane was already fully boarded by the time I got to the gate so I didn't get to see what it was used for.

That is interesting. Louisville played a Big East game at Syracuse on Saturday and the Denver Broncos play the Cleveland Browns today, not that an NFL team could fly on either an A318 or 319. Maybe it was somebody else going to Louisville.

There were two charters Delta charters leaving Tampa Bay to Philly at the same time. One was Delta 9784 a 757. Must have used two aircraft or one was a fan charter?

Seems like Green Bay came into FLL on a NW 757 for the Miami Game. Saw what looked like a -300 from a distance in O/C parked at the Jet Center yesterday. My Dolphins are killing me slowly...

The University of Hawai‘i Warriors flew AQ for their road game against New Mexico State. The flight routed from HNL to ELP via OAK as AAH548. The team bussed it from ELP to NMSU. After beating the Aggies 49 - 30, the Warriors returned on AAH549 with the routing in reverse.

Doesn't Tampa Bay Bucs use a Northwest 757-300? I got pics of one landing at ATL last year when the Bucs played the Falcons.

A lot of smaller college teams will just fly on scheduled flights. I have had the Michigan State women's water polo team on a flight that I was on. Sometimes even smaller pro teams will fly scheduled. I once flew from GRR-SLC via DTW with the AHL's Grand Rapids Griffins.

I tracked every NFL charter this weekend at work. Here is what each team used.

Jacksonville Jaguars: World Airways MD11 JAX-IAH (I am shocked that they didn't use HOU, but I don't think the airport can handle an MD11 either)
New England Patriots: Delta 767-300 PVD-BUF
Green Bay Packers: NW 757-300 GRB-FLL
Detroit Lions: NW 757-200 DTW-EWR
Minnesota Vikings: NW 757-300 MSP-BFI
Arizona Cardinals: NW 757-200 PHX-OAK
Washington Redskins: United 757-200 IAD-IND
Carolina Panthers: USAirways A321 CLT-CVG
Pittsburgh Steelers: USAirways 757-200 PIT-ATL
San Diego Chargers: Delta 767-300 SAN-MCI
Philadelphia Eagles: Delta 767-300 PHL-TPA (Even though US does NFL charters and they have the team logo on one of their planes)
Denver Broncos: United 757-200 DEN-CLE

The Giants flew sunday and I didn't see what they flew, I was too busy watching the games. Since the NFL teams that play Green Bay fly their charters into ATW, I see the charters outside our SOC all the time. Great photo opportunities, I will try to post one in the near future.

I flew a chartered A319 last week AUS-LNK for Texas-Nebraska. Flight was on Waterloo Airways, operated by Frontier as Frontier 8755 I believe it was. Pax load was 100 UT fans and about 4-6 Nubb fans. The frontier F/A's did not bring enough beer! argh.
Firings, if well done, are good for employee morale.

Don't see the Giants playing the Lions next week, looks like they have the Falcons coming into town. The Falcons fly on a Delta 767-300 and their flight number is 9810.

The Giants btw, usually fly on a United 767-300 with a 757-200 used sometimes for shorter trips. The Giants flight number is 9905.

Also want to correct something I said in reply 36 regarding the 49ers. The United 8199 may have been a fan charter but was defintely not the team jet. The 49ers fly on a Delta 767-300 and the flight number is 9790.
