Anyone able to answer these questions???

- Any new routes to be launched???

- Or will this just be the existing routes and new routes will be announced later?

- Will U2 restart their routes to Rijeka, Split and Bratislava? As these routes were discontinued at the end of this years winter timetable.

I heard of a LGW-BSL new route in addition to the existing ones to/from LTN and STN. But of course not confirmed yet.

Rijeka, Split and I believe Rimini along with Cagliary will return for the summer schedule, I believe Bratislava was dropped during the summer schedule so im not sure if that will return, Grenoble resumes from December 15th I think from LTN for the ski season

Well, just look at the last presentation at http://easyjet.com/EN/Investor/investorrelations_presentations.html

It shows the following numbers for base expansion to sep 07 (sep 06)
LGW +2 (now 18)
BRS +1 (now 9)
GVA +2 (now 6)
MXP +3 (now 3) - large expansion ahead! Won't it be the no. 4 aircraft flying from 15th of December, the date when PRG starts and AMS will go to double-daily?
Madrid +4 (0)

Tactical reserve +3 (6)

So effectively, the a/c from the tactical reserve can still be assigned to bases. Maybe the BRU base rumoured for quite some time? A 3 a/c-base seems a good start.

ORY-ATH-ORY could be a new route as well. At least easyJet Switzerland (!) received slots for a daily rotation.

ORY-ATH seems a logical route. I'd imagine that easyJet is slowly establishing itself in the Greek market in order to be ready if anything happens to OA.

There were rumours lately about a ATH base. How about that? I thought ATH was a very expensive airport?

Ah nice. Interesting they only have the news on the French site, not on the English version. They're also quite slow with updating their routemap, EDI-MUC isn't on the map yet. I just can't believe nobody is pushing the website team more to update the map, as I can imagine it has a serious effect on the bookings.

Also, the text above the map needs a serious revision to include Turkey, Estonia, Latvia, Slovenia and Croatia.

No doogie. More like GVA.  Wink Plus AMS to 2x daily. No LGW flights on sale from EDI so looks like all will still be done by LGW based aircraft when the LGW flights go on sale soon.

easyJet seems to increase presence at AMS again, after the reductions a couple of years ago. BRS went to 2x daily this year, LGW to 5 dailies, GVA to 3 dailies; MXP 2x daily.

Strange timings, though: the flights leaves EDI 08:50. What does the a/c do in the early morning?

I'm pretty sure it does an EDI-BFS rotation, which of course is a very short sector which is why it can still leave for AMS early morning even though it's not part of the first rotations of the day.

NEMA's have gone on sale today...

No news there! - Same schedule and routes.  Embarrassment

U2 seem happy to leave NEMA as it is with no expansion or new routes. It has virtually remained unchanged for years, other than the Rome and Cologne routes which replace the Scottish services.
