Which Aircraft Does Cubana Use On HAV - LGW?

Mon Nov 27, 2006 7:42 pm

Could someone please tell me which aircraft Cubana use on the HAV-LGW flight?

I cannot seem to find much in the database.

Also, could someone tell me a bit of information about the flight?

How often does it run? Is it seasonal?

Is it a full scheduled flight? What is the service like? PTVs in the back of the seats? Good food?

How many years has the flight been operating?

Many thanks.

CUBANA's website indicates that the flight CU400/CU401 is operated twice a week by a B767. CU401 LGW-HAV makes a stop at HOG (Holguin).

As CU doesn't operate any B767, they probably charter another airline for this service.

They have used a Novair A332, and a wet-leased Air Atlanta B743 in the past - think they buy space on the Thomson flights now.

First Choice have the best product to Cuba.
What do you mean you dont have any bourbon? Do you know how far it is to Houston? What kind of airline is this???

They use an Air Europa B767-300 (EC-JJJ)

Currently runs 2x weekly on Wednesdays and Saturdays (from LGW), flying to both Havana and Holguin. It's a year round service.

Why doesn't Cubana get their own planes for the service?

Il96! Il96! Il96! Il96! Il96! Il96! Il96! Il96! Il96! Il96! Il96! Il96! Il96!

You'll never guess what aircraft I'd like to see Cubana with at LGW...

EC-JJJ seems to be the preferred machine but they do use the other AEA 763s also...I think I have managed to log 4 or 5 different AEA 763s at LGW this summer
