This is a historical picture taken in 1956. Workers are trying to load a 5MB hard drive in to this air craft. What is this aircraft?
Quoting Cessna057 (Reply 1):
Nice computer lol
Quoting TZ757300 (Reply 3):
Well with the 5MB hard drive being that big I would say it would have to be during the 60's maybe 70's.
Quoting IsuA380B777 (Reply 4):
The hard drive is off the IBM 305 RAMAC
Quoting PanHAM (Reply 6):
Confirm the DC6 as well.
If that picture was taken in 1956 it cannot have been a DC7CF because these had been ordered in 1956 and the cargo conversions took place in 1959. Otherwise, it would be quite difficult to distinguish a 6 from a 7 with that picture.
