Are the MAD and MXP routes going to be operated by MAD and MXP based aircraft and crew?

Presumambly the PMI route will be operated by EDI based aircraft and crew?
Next flights: LGW-LBA-LGW, LHR-SIN-SYD, SYD-BKK-LHR, LGW-GRO, GRO-CIA, CIA-MAD, MAD-LGW

MAD and MXP are MAD and MXP crew. The PMI service is an EDI crew. Fantastic news! I'm already planning a MAD trip for later this year!

While I fully appreciate that you took Easyjet's own header, I would not call 16 weekly flights a "massive" expansion..... However, together with the prematurely launched Munich service (I suppose they planned launching it together with MAD, MXP and PMI) that was disclosed somewhat early due to outside pressure  Smile, it is four additional routes and almost the capacity of one extra based aircraft.

It's actually 23 weekly flighths, and together with MUC 30 weekly flights, as also AMS is getting additional capacity, from 1 to 2 daily. Still not what I'd call 'massive' though  Wink

MAD should do well as EZY will be well known in both Edinburgh and Madrid and there should be two way traffic

MXP is interesting as Jet 2 have anounced BGY for next summer which I guess wont now happen. However EZY have one very important advantage over Jet 2 - far greater brand awareness in Italy

MUC 30 Weekly flights ?
7 weekly flights more likely.
No where near a "massive" expansion if you ask me

must been read as "and together with [7 weekly flights to] MUC [it comes to a total of] 30 [new] flights.

7 MXP
7 MAD
7 MUC
7 AMS
2 PMI
= 30

add to that an extra 3 on EDI-GVA as it goes daily for summer, it's only daily in winter just now.
Pretty good expansion from an airline previously known to have shyed away from such things in Scotland if you ask me!
