Hi there,
Will be flying LH Boeing 737-500 in February from EDI to FRA and was wondering if the 735s are also being fitted out with the new Recaro seats that LH are currently fitting on, for example, the A319 and A320s? Anybody out there know? I remember mention being made of cloth seats on the 733 being used from non-hub destinations - are the 735s part of this also?

Flew MAN-MUC in October on 735 and I am sure it had the new seats. I was surprised to see it on the 737s.

AFAIK LH said right from the beginning that ALL A320S and B737 are going to get the new interior. Never heard something different.

Flew FRA-LYS and back on B733s at the end of November; they both (D-ABEW / D-ABEA) had the new seats. Does anyone know whether the conversion has been completed fleet-wide? Thanks.

sl OT, but do the new A346s have new Y seats, the ones on the A343 are torture compared to those on their narrowbodies.

The A346s have new Y seats, as far as I could tell aboard D-AIHP last week. Looked very cramped all in all. Not a good way to travel.

I think you'll like them. I flew with the new seats back in September in Y and I thought they were very comfortable. I also thought the cabin looked really bright and modern.

I've been on the new seats in Y too (maybe four times so far? something like that...). They are OK. Maybe a bit on the hard side?
